Rob is a veteran technology executive and Field CTO at Surya Technologies, with more than 25 years of experience at Cisco, NetApp, American Tower, and ST Engineering iDirect. He has led teams in product development, systems architecture, solution design, sales engineering, professional services, and customer success, consistently building high-performance cultures.
He has advanced satellite architectures and 5G/edge standards, and at Cisco, he led major government networking programs, including the Internet Routing in Space (IRIS) initiative. He also earned multiple Cisco Pioneer Awards for innovations in routing and high availability.
At Surya, Rob drives the company’s expansion into OT-first managed services, partnering with executives across manufacturing, healthcare, and energy to align AI, cloud, and network solutions with business outcomes. His leadership ensures clients benefit from proven IT expertise while embracing new OT security and automation strategies.
Outside of work, Rob is a race director, community volunteer, husband, and father.
